PayPal is an online payment service that allows you to make secure, quick and easy payments.
How it works:
First of all, you must set up a PayPal account with your details. Once you have placed an order at The Botanical, you will be redirected to PayPal. Here you enter your email address and password, and confirm payment. Once you have clicked on “buy” on this overview page, will your PayPal account be debited. In the case of a cancellation or a return, your PayPal account will be credited with a refund when returned items have been received at our warehouse. If you do not yet have a PayPal account, you can set one up at any time.
Further information can be found at www.paypal.com
Sofortüberweisung is a direct, sercure online transfer service, based around online banking – all you need is an online bank account to be able to use it.
How it works:
Once you have placed an order at The Botanical, you will be taken to the secure Sofortüberweisung site. Here a pre-filled form will have all of the necessary information for the transfer – you simply enter your bank sort code, and will then be asked to enter your account number and corresponding PIN. A final step requires the input of a requested TAN and subsequent confirmation of the transfer.
Further information can be found at www.www.klarna.com/sofort/
At The Botanical we also accept VISA, MasterCard and American Express credit cards. If you are paying with credit card, your account will be debited as soon as you click on “buy”. In the case of a cancellation or a return, your account will be credited with a refund once returned items have been received at our warehouse.
As an additional security measure, we also offer 3-D Secure protocols “Verified by Visa” and “MasterCardSecureCode”. After you have entered the card number of your VISA or MasterCard credit card at the checkout, you will be connected to a page where you can confirm your identity by means of a code you receive separately. This means that only successfully authenticated credit card payments will be accepted, reducing the risk of credit card misuse.
We recommend getting in touch with your bank to enquire about your own security, registering your cards with 3-D Secure protocols where possible.
